About Me
Mike Hollow is a devoted husband and father with a lifetime of experience as a public servant. In January of 1999, Mike started his public service career in EMS in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. After several years, he followed his passion for law and order and transitioned into law enforcement as a police officer. In 2004, Mike Hollow relocated and became a Sheriff’s Deputy in Lee County.
Mike faithfully served OUR community in many facets, including:
• Patrol
• Major Crimes Detective (Robbery & Homicide)
• Internal Affairs (IA Commander)
• K-9 Patrol
• Watch Commander
• Aviation
• Hostage Negotiations
Mike’s Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis on Public Administration, coupled with his extensive experience uniquely qualifies him for this position. Mike Hollow is fully equipped with the experience and proficiency necessary to hit the ground running on day one.
Mike has dedicated his life to being the voice for the voiceless. This election is NO different. Many current employees fear retaliation if they speak out, or vote against the current administration. Mike is prepared to drain the Lee County swamp and put a stop to the corruption that has infiltrated our Sheriff’s department. Our deputies need change. Our citizens need change. Let’s take our county back.
As your Sheriff, Mike Hollow commits to shorten response times, properly staff the department, and end the ‘pay to play’ good old boy system we have been plagued with. Mike will stand up for our rights and will not follow or issue any unconstitutional orders. School Resource Officers will be fully prepared, supported, and equipped to ensure the safety of our most vulnerable population, our children.
